Engineer and Spanish entrepreneur. He founded several engineering and architecture companies such as Edificios y Obras S.A and IDOM.
Rafael Escolá was born in Barcelona on April 6th in 1919. He obtained the degree in Industrial Engineering on 1945. He moved to Madrid. There, he founded with some friends Edificios y Obras S.A., a company dedicated to civil engineering and arquitecture projects. In 1957 he moved to Bilbao where he founded IDOM.
