Arts and Crafts engineer and French inventor. He is considered as the father of two-stroke engine for automobiles and has designed the engine of the French famous brand motorcycle SIMCA SEVITAM.

Violet Marcel is regarded as the father of two-stroke engine for automobiles and has designed the engine of the French famous brand motorcycle SIMCA SEVITAM. He was a member of the French Academy of Sciences. In 1920 he resumes the work of Stanislas Bignan in 1956 and set a patent for a "device treating electro-vibration of water and different bodies or liquids."
