Function |
The invention concerns a mechanical transmission device for a variable cylinder capacity engine includes at least a cylinder wherein moves a piston, which is interdependent in its lower portion with a transmission member. This transmission member co-operates on the one hand through a small-sized rack with a roller bearing guide device and on the other hand through another large-sized rack with a sprocket wheel linked to a connecting rod. A control member including a large-sized rack co-operates with the sprocket wheel, which allows varying the displacement and compression ratio engine. |
