Training system for rugby players : Scrum beam

Structure of mechanism

Function The current training systems can't produce only two freedom degrees, one of translation and one of rotation about a vertical axis. So these systems are unsuitable to a good and tactical training which is required by current high rugby level. This nex system includes a platform on which there is the scrum beam, a servomechanism electronical system and a control numerical system. Thanks to his six jacks, this system allows reliable displacements, controled in stress, and thanks to the servomechanism, scrum conditions can be simulated by stress reproduction, and give six freedom degrees.
