Obituary

  • Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. (RO) Günther Dittrich
  • died suddenly on 21 November 2016 at the age of 81 years.

We are mourning for an outstanding mechanism scientist, a committed university professor, engineer, doctoral adviser and, above all, sympathetic person, whose working life since the beginning of the sixties was devoted to research and teaching in the area of kinematics and dynamics of planar, spherical and spatial mechanisms as well as robotic systems.
