The body of the dynamometer is made of plastic and graduated in Newtons. It contains an aluminium shaft connected to a spring and whose extremity, located outside the body, is equipped with a hook. At the top of the tube, another hook enables the dynamometer to be suspended. |

The dynamometer enables the mechanical measurement of the forces of various types of equipment. It was used during practical classes for future teachers at the men’s and women’s teacher training colleges in Aurillac (Cantal), now the University Institute of Teacher Training. |
