Structure of mechanism |
| Function |
Landing gear in 3 legs containing each a pair of wheel. Legs are retractable double: the first part gets up (containing the part of structure and the shock absorber) then a system of piston also raises the bogie beam, the axle and the wheels. It allows a better arrangement of the train inside the plane. Certain legs can retract independently of the others for particular positions of the train. A system of hydraulic shock absorber give an additional shrinkage (more or less long). |
