This paper, developed in 1963, when the Department of Machine Parts and Mechanisms was not yet founded, is the first laboratory guide on the subject of Machine Parts and Mechanisms, written for the students of engineering.
At the time, professors at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were interested in enriching scientific and technical knowledge of students by introducing in their courses numerous new problems reflecting the latest achievements of science and technology. This is precisely what led to this book issuing.
