Impedance of the uncharge muffler of compressor A with an increased volume in the discharge chamber
We have characterized, applying a lumped-parameter model, the uncharge mufflers of different reciprocating hermetic compressors using their impedance and their transfer-function. The analysis of results allows to infer some desing criteria that can be useful in improving their behavior as low-pass acoustic filters.
