The mechanism is intended for connecting parallel shafts A and B which are out of line. The transmission ratio i₁₃= 1. Rigidly mounted on shafts A and B are disks 1 and 3 which have grooves a' and b' . Between the disks is plate 2 having tongues a and b on its two faces. The tongues are located at 90° to each other and fit into the grooves a' and b' of links 1 and 3. The mechanism transmits uniform motion from one shaft to the other even when the distance e between them varies.
