Link 4 turns about fixed axis C and is connected by turning pair E to slider 5 which moves along guide a of link 2. Link 2 reciprocates in fixed guides p-p. When sliding link 1 rotates at uniform velocity about axis B, link 2 travels with approximately uniform velocity over a part of its forward stroke.
