When tracing point A is moved along curve a, carriage 1, rigidly attached to gear 2, has translational motion along axis x-x. Tracing arm 3 is connected by turning pair D to carriage 1 and serves as a carrier for internal gear 4 which turns about axis B. Gear 4 meshes with gear 2 and is rigidly attached to the axis of recording wheel 5 which is rotated when gear 4 rotates.
