The lengths of the links comply with the conditions: r₁=r₂=r₃, where r₁, r₂ and r₃ are the radii of pulleys 1, 2 and 3, and the distance from point E to line BC is d=r₁. Pulley 1 rotates about fixed axis A and, through flexible link 4, rotates pulleys 2 and 3 about fixed axes B and C. Pin a of flexible link 4 slides along slot b of slotted link 5 which turns about fixed axis E. When pulley 1 rotates about axis A, slotted link 5 oscillates about axis E. When pin a travels along vertical portion of of its path, slotted link 5 has a dwell in its ritgiht-hand extreme position.
