Flexible link 8 runs over pulleys 2 and 7, of equal diameter, and is connected by turning pair G to link 3. Pulley 2 is rigidly attached to the base. Link 5 is connected by turning pairs E and F to link 6 and to links 4 and 3. When link 1 turns about axis A, links 3, 4, 5 and 6 have complex motions.
