Flexible link 8 runs over pulleys 4 and 7, of equal diameter, and is connected by turning pairs G to links 3 and 5. Pulley 7 is rigidly attached to the base. Links 2 and 6 are connected by turning pairs F and E to links 3 and 5. When link 1 turns about axis A, links 2, 3, 5 and 6 have complex motions.
