The mechanism sorts needle rollers for bearings according to their length and consists of two cones 1, facing each other and rotating about fixed axes A at the same speed. Needle rollers a are fed in by feeding disk 2 which rotates about fixed axis B-B. Depending upon their length the needle rollers are gripped between cones 1 at various radii and are carried over to a set of chutes into which they drop. All the rollers in a length group drop into the same chute.
