Anwendungsbeispiele	The E. Ducretet inclination compass indicates the terrestrial magnetic field. This instrument is used to measure magnetic inclination, that is to say the angle made between a magnetised needle and the horizontal plane when the needle is in the plane of the magnetic meridian.
