Piaggio, Rinaldo (1864 - 1938)


 
Founder

Rinaldo Piaggio was an italian entrepreneur and Italian Kingdom Senator. Piaggio initially produced locomotives and railway carriages. During WorldWar I the company focused on producing aircraft. Today Piaggio is a motor vehicle manufacturer based in Pontedera, Italy that has seven brands of scooters and motorcycles, and two compact commercial vehicle brands.
