Description
Plate cam 1 rotates counter-clockwise about fixed axis A and has profiled lobes a. Follower 2 reciprocates in fixed guides B-B and has projection b which engages lobes a of cam 1, raising the follower. When a lobe a disengages projection b, follower 2 drops, compressing spring 3. In its downstroke, projection b engages the next lobe a and follower 2 is raised again. Thus, when cam 1 rotates continuously, follower 2 has a vibrational motion. |
