Description
The picture shows a friction pendulum (pendulum Froudesches). The pendulum is mounted rotatably about an axis which rotates itself with a constant angular velocity is assumed to be Q. Between the mounting sleeve of the pendulum and the rotating axis friction moments are transmitted Mr, whose magnitude depends on the magnitude of the relative speed between the shaft and suspension sleeve.
