Structure of mechanism |
| Function |
The lengths of the elements of the mechanism satisfy the condition DB = BC. Element 1 wear a roller a which moves in a fixed slide b – b whose width is equal to the diameter of the roller. Point A of the element 1, located at a distance AB = BD, following the line x – x perpendicular to the axis of the slide b – b. Points of the handle d describe segments with elliptical orbit. The lengths of these segments depend on the choice of the length of the groove a – a. |
