Giovanni Agnelli jr, better known as Gianni Agnelli (to differentiate from his grandfather Giovanni Agnelli), was an Italian industrialist and principal shareholder of automobile manufacturing company Fiat SpA, Italy’s largest private business enterprise, from 1966 to 1996. He was the richest man in modern Italian history.
