Designer

Italian Engineer, Officer of the Naval Engineers Corp of the Royal Italian Navy.
In 1913 his direction of the rescue and recover of the armoured cruiser S. Giorgio was so appreciated that he was soon included in the team of the main designer of the italian warships.
Partecipated at the design of the most prestigious italian battleships: the Littorio class and designed the famous training ships Cristoforo colombo and Amerigo Vespucci. The latter is still in service and is considered the most beautiful training ship of the world.

1900 Degree in Naval and Mechanical Engineering.
1913 Messina Directed the rescue and recover of the armoured cruiser S. Giorgio who was aground in the strict of Messina.
1930 Designed the sail training ships Amerigo Vespucci and Cristoforo Colombo of the Italian Royal Navy (Vespucci still in service).
1934 Partecipated to the design of Littorio class of battleship.
1936 Partecipated to the design of the reconstruction and modernisation of the Caio Duilio and Andrea Doria classes of battleships.
