Estructura del mecanismo
Función	This object is composed of several metal rods which have curved, pointed ends. All these rods are located in the same horizontal plane. They are all curved in the same direction. The set of rods is mobile about a metal pivot attached to a stand which is partly made of glass.

Aplicación
Ejemplos de aplicación	An electrostatic machine is connected to the upper end of the object. When the machine is operating, the turnstile starts to move in the opposite direction to that of the rod end points. It was used by future teachers during their studies at the men’s and women’s teacher training colleges, now the IUFM (University Teacher Training Institute) in Clermont-Ferrand.
