The well-known through numerous applications in the field of welding Cloos from Haiger showed three different six-axis robots welding and cutting applications. It was demonstrated with a Romat 106 in cooperation with a two-axis welding table with a pulse of light-gun welding on a thick-walled aluminum tank. The workpiece is rotated synchronously with the robot in vertical and horizontal position (see figure).
