The university of Castilla-La Mancha was formally created on June 30th in 1982. It is a public university. It has four university Campuses with a wide academic offer.

In 1982 the University of Castilla-La Mancha was formally created. In 1985 the activities started within the university premises. Since 1983 until 1988 the professor Isidro Ramos Salavert was the president of the commission in charge of the University’s consolidation. In 1988 the professor Luis Arroyo Zapatero was named Dean until 2003. From 2003 and 2011 the professor Ernesto Martinez Ataz was the Dean of the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Miguel Ángel Collado is the current Dean of the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
