Portable Step and Bridge Ladder, System Porta (1874)

The interactive animation shows a WebGL model of a mobile ladder, which consists of intermateable separate ladder segments. The interactive animation shows the ladder in the upright, put together state. The mechanic Paul Porta, who lived in Milan, applied this ladder for a patent in 1874.
