Bartolomeo Neroni named “Il Riccio (the Hedgehog) was an italian painter, sculptor, architect and miniaturist. He composed “Manoscritto di architettura e macchine” (manuscript of machines and architecture) in wich are illustrated building and hydraulic machines. The manuscript is now stored at Siena, Biblioteca comunale degli Intronati.
