Muzio Oddi was an italian mathematics, military engineer and architect. He is known for his work on measuring tools, but he he was also expert in mechanics. Infact, in Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana in Florence, it is housed an Oddi’s manuscript about “Raccolta di diverse macchine” (collection of various machines) Codex Ashbur 1357 bis.
