Description

Link 1, rotating about fixed axis A, has pin b which slides in movable circular guiding slot a-a of radius B͞C and with its centre at point C. When link 1 rotates, link 2 reciprocates along axis x-x. The mechanism is equivalent to offset slider-crank linkage ABC in which A͞B is the crank, B͞C is the connecting rod, slotted link 2 is the slider and d is the offset.
