Description
Crank 1, turning about fixed axis A, is connected by turning pair B to link 2 which moves in slider 3. Slider 3 turns about fixed axis 0. When crank 1 turns about axis A, point K (and K₁) describes a limaçon whose polar equation with respect to centre 0 is of the form ρK=2r*cos(ϕ)±b where b=K͞B=B͞K₁, r=0͞A, ρK = radius vector drawn from centre 0 to point K (K₁), ϕ = polar angle. |
