Cover of the first printed guide for laboratory work in mechanism science and machine parts. The Department of Machine Parts and Mechanisms as administrative unit of the Mechanical Engineering Faculty, served under this name in the period 1962 to 2001. Previously it was affiliated with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and subsequently was integrated with the Mechatronics Department. The book "Guide for the lab works on the theory of mechanisms and machine parts" is the first guide written and published in Timisoara, by the teachers of the department staff.
