The static behavior of a handling device is reflected in the measurable displacements on the hook. In the process out of a retracted position (see Figure), the gripper experiences due to its own weight and the intrinsic curvature of a static frame shift relative to the desired position, which can be assigned to a coordinate system XYZ.
