The lengths of the links comply with the conditions:A͞B+B͞C<D͞C+A͞D and A͞B<D͞C<A͞D<B͞C. Link 3 is designed as a circular slider which moves along movable circular guiding slot a-a of radius B͞C and with its centre at point C. When crank 1 rotates about fixed axis A, slotted link 2 oscillates about fixed axis D.
