Kapp, Gisbert (1852 - 1922)

Österreichischer Elektrotechniker

Kapp has been professor for electrical engineering at the university of Birmingham. He developed Kapp's construction of a dynamo, that is used in many direct current motors. Because of his calculations relating to proportion of copper and iron in electrical engines, it is possible to build engines that are able to convert 90 percent of mechanical enery into electrical energy.
