The thresher of B. Hambruch, Boll Baum & Co. in Elbing has many peculiarities. The same is shown in the figure, from which the overall arrangement is understandable. The drum is removed for clarity, and fully apparent from the drawings, the hammers are helically wound in wrought iron design so that they have when they are worn on one side, can be easily reversed.
