Description
The lengths of the links comply with the conditions: A͞C=0͞A=a and D͞C=C͞E=2a. Link 1, turning about fixed axis A, is connected by turning pair C to slider 3. Slider 3 moves along axis Bf of link 4 which turns about fixed axis B. Link 5 has the form of a bent lever. Arm Fd of link 5 moves in slider 2 which is connected by turning pair E to cross-piece ED of slider 3. When link 1 turns about axis A, points D and E describe cardioid p-p and arms Fb and Fd of link 5 envelop the cardioid. The equation of the cardioid is ρD=0͞D=2a(1+cos(ϕ)) where ϕ is the polar angle between vector ρD and polar axis 0x. $1149$LG,Ge$
