Koenig, Friedrich (1774 - 1833)

Friedrich Koenig was a German topographer in Breitkopf at Lipsia inventor best known for his high-speed printing press, which he built together with watchmaker Andreas Friedrich Bauer. In 1817 Koenig returned to Germany and founded the company Koenig & Bauer.
