This manual calculating machine has a capacity of 10 figures for the input, 8 for the counter and 13 for the totalizer. Calculations are performed using an Odhner system, developed starting in 1891, and consisting of a set of pinwheels with varying numbers of teeth. Contrary to older models, the carriage contains the input register. The cursors are replaced by a reduced keyboard. Three levers enable each register to be re-set separately. The three red keys shift the carriage for multiplication or division. |
