Structure of mechanism |
Function |
The element 1 carrying the wheel a turns around the fixed axis D of the frame of the plane. The element 2 forms the couples of rotation C and D with elements 1 and 3. The element 3 turns around the fixed axis A of the frame of the plane. The stalk of the command’s jack of the train 4 constitutes a couple of rotation E with the element 3. The command’s jack 4 turns around the fixed axis F of the plane’s frame. When the stalk 5 goes back up in the cylinder of the jack 4, elements 1,2 and 3 revolve in the direction of arrows and mechanism take the position indicated in intermittent lines, so assuring the lifting of the landing gear of the plane. |
