The lengths of the elements of the mechanism satisfy the condition BC = AB + a. When the crank is in a vertical position above, points A, B and C are located on the same line and the movement of the mechanism is unknown. If, starting from this position the slider 3 moves left, the full stroke of the ram will be s=4*(AB*BC)^1/2 |
