A Swedish engineer born in 1911 in Stockholm. He worked for LM Ericsson where he developed the crossbar system for telephony centrals.
Anton Christian Jacobaeus was a swedish engineer born in 1911 in Stockholm. He graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1935. He worked for LM Ericsson after graduating. In 1939 he started to work for the department of telephone switching as a project engineer and later as a system engineer. In 1950 he is named head of the Research Department and that same year he obtained his PhD. He developed the crossbar system and obtained over 30 patents. From 1963 to 1976 he was Vice-president of the company. He died on February 24th in 1988.
