Description
Compressed air is delivered through tube 1 into membrane-type pressure stabilizer 2 after which the air stream is divided into two parts: one passing through internally tapered glass indicator column 3 and the other through conical valve 4 to measuring head 5 to which air passes from column 3 as well. Depending upon clearance a between the end face of measuring head 5 and the surface of the work being checked, the flow of air and, consequently, its velocity are varied. Lightweight float 6 rises in column 3 until equilibrium is reached between the action of gravity and the air flow on the float. The flow-gauge scale is graduated in units showing the deviation in work size from the basic value. $4052$EHP,M$
