Description
The clutch-brake combination consists of an inner part that is connected to the output shaft, and two outer plates. In the inner part there is an air piston which initiates when acted upon by the friction, the mean adhesion on the clutch side. During ventilation of the cylinder cause springs that the mean friction disc is pressed against the friction segments of the brake plate and thereby creates the power circuit. An overlap of the clutch and brake is impossible (see figure).
