Each model which is driven by an electric motor can be set into motion by a pushbutton.

For some models different settings are available via additional engines. The demonstration models were designed under the direction of professor Volmer between 1963 and 1974 and then built in the faculty's own workshop. All models are in very good condition and fully operative. The colors of the links mean the following:
