Madariaga Casado, José María de (1853 - 1934)


 
Spanish Mining Engineer and professor of electrical Engineering. Excellent teacher who contributed to the study and dissemination of Electrotechnique.

José María de Madariaga Casado was a brilliant mining engineer and Professor of Electrotechnics of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He was part of the Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences and was president of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and Physics.

1886 Madrid He was appointed professor of Chemistry Laboratory of the School of Mining Engineers of Madrid.
1891 Madrid He became professor in Electrotechnics at the Mining Engineering School of Madrid.
1902 He joined the Academy of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences.
1906 President of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry and Physics.
1913 - 1916 Director of the Mining Engineering School.
