The video shows a simulation of the five axis milling of a compressor plate. The software is Vericut, and allows visualizing the machining process in order to avoid interferences with the machine elements, or the fixturing. It also helps the CAM operator to find the best milling strategies for a given machine tool architecture. The video has been recorded in the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU.
