The invention relates to a retractable seat especially for motor vehicles comprising a seat which is hinged on a folder, connecting means connecting the front seat to the vehicle structure, the seat may occupy an extended position and a retracted position in which the folder is folded against the seat, the seat comprising means interconnecting means for connecting the back and front connection means designed for a swivel connecting means causes a pivoting back in the same direction before connecting means and the seat is equipped with a box lock buckle a seat belt, attached to a moving means of interconnection, so as to be movable between a use position when the seat is in its extended position and a retracted position when the seat is in its retracted position. The squab has a backlash, which allows to pull the seatback down and to have a lower squab position in retracted position than in standard use position. The retractable position is like, such as the seatback most voluminous parts (lumbar supports) take place in the squab hollowest parts. The seatback is linked up to the floor by a back and an intermediate connecting rod whose axis forme a first deformable quadrilateral. The front and the back connecting rods are inclined in the opposite direction, and their axis form a trapezium. That increases the stability and the wheelbase of the vehicle. No elements exceed the back in relation to the standard use position. |
