Jacques Ozanam was a French mathematician. He is best known as the author of various mathematical texts and in particular trigonometric tables, as well as texts of cartography and descriptive geometry. He was also interested in mechanics, he dedicated a chapter to mechanics in his volume "Cours de mathématiques".
