1816 - 1847 Construction of four water-column machines for the Freiberg silver ore mine "Reicher Bergsegen", "Alte Mordgrube", "Segen Gottes" near Rosswein and "Einigkeit" near Brand-Erbisdorf

1846 Brendel is appointed as counsellor of mines as the first machine technician and thus a member of the Saxon Upper Mining Office
